A HydraFacial is a multi-step hydro-dermabrasion (think microdermabrasion but with serums) facial including a chemical peel, painless extractions, and vortex infusions of serums. This allows up to personalize a patients treatment due to skin needs and type. It also gives us the freedom to change our protocol as your skin changes to achieve our results.

HydraFacial is a regimen that we would like for our clients to adopt. This treatment is how you can keep healthy looking skin and diminish the impact of sun, smoke, dust. Ideally, clients should get HydraFacial treatment once a month. Our club membership even makes this easier.

Pregnant women, nursing moms , and clients who have active acne (one or two pimples are okay!), and are fighting active infections such as herpetic lesions, staph infection, etc., and/or have couperose skin with many large and visible capillaries should consult our staff on whether they should be treated. 

We think that they are complementary treatment options. HydraFacial, we see as general well-being treatment that keeps your skin looking healthy and nourished. Microneedling on the other hand stimulates collagen creation which in turn helps you build more healthy skin. Microneedling treatment will take 3-6 treatments to help you build collagen and get your skin rejuvenated. This is not a one versus the other option, both have a place in your skin-care journey.

You should stop retinol 3 days prior to the HydraFacial treatment. If you do home-based peels then you should stop those too.

HydraFacial per say will not remove hair follicles or peach fuzz. That is why we combine our HydraFacial with Dermaplaning for clients who would also like to remove the peach fuzz on their face. Our club members have a very special deal on this. Call us and ask.

Thick beard will impede the treatment. We recommend our clients who have a lot of facial hair and would like to take advantage of this treatment fully, to shave and the come for treatment.

Hydro-dermabrasion is a treatment that is done with generic serums and equipment. The results are also not going to be comparable to the patented HydraFacial technology. Please ask for HydraFacial by name.

Dermaplaning is a great treatment that goes hand in hand with HydraFacial. In fact, a lot of our clients want to get both the treatments during their visit.
