The BodySculp is an FDA approved Laser lipolysis in a nonsurgical body contouring treatment that uses diode-laser energy to permanently destroy stubborn fat cells. The diode laser applicators deliver energy that effectively penetrates into the hypodermis to target adipose tissue without harming the skins surface. Energy is absorbed in subcutaneous layer and water in tissue is heated to affect adipose tissue. Tissue temperature is elevated to 42-46 degree C and apoptosis begins. Thermal lipolysis is induced. Damaged fat cells are destroyed and removed from your body through your bodies lymphatic system. This treatment is intended for individuals with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or less who have pockets of stubborn fat that they want to get rid of.

Body contouring is for those folks who are BMI < 30 and have stubborn pockets of fat in certain areas of the body such as the waist, belly, thighs etc. The Body Sculpt treatment will help you get rid of the fat in those areas. We do encourage that you maintain healthy food and exercise to maximize the benefit of this treatment.
No. This is not an alternative to healthy eating and exercise that are essential for weight loss. The body contouring treatment is primarily to help you get rid of fat in specific areas of the body. This is the fat layer that is stubborn and will not go away regardless of what you do.
Each treatment will last about 30 min. You will lie on our comfortable bed with the laser pads warming your body gently. You may bring your music to keep yourself entertained. We recommend 6-8 treatments in a span of 2 months for most effectiveness.
You may start seeing a change after 1 treatment itself. However, you will see a meaningful change after 2-3 treatments. To maximize the benefit we advise that you maintain healthy eating habits and exercise regularly. What would be most disheartening to us is if you do not eat well and exercise and gain weight during the treatment process.
Yes, it is a little painful. We do adjust the laser power such that you are comfortable with the treatment. During the treatment you will feel the heat out of the laser and there may be redness on the skin after the treatment. The redness will go away in a couple of days.
No there is no downtime with Body Contouring treatment. You can head out after the treatment and continue on with your daily activities.

Great experience! The spa looked very clean and sanitary. They offered me a sparkling water when I arrived and a clean mask to wear on my freshly injected face as I left. This was my first time getting injections and Rachael was really great about listening to my goals and letting me know what I need to achieve them. My initial laser hair removal treatment used a machine with a cryo blast for cooling. I had a reaction to the cryo and talked to Riviére about it afterward. They could not have been more kind and sincere. I expressed my hesitancy to come back for follow-up treatments but they were very reassuring based on new equipment that did not use cryo. Not only that but they said this new machine was pain-free. They offered a test area to prove their words so I returned. I am so glad that I did. The new machine truly is painless hair removal. Unbelievable ! It has me referring everyone I know as well as considering other areas for hair removal. Not only is the machine pain-free but the staff is professional and understanding. They have experience with the tools and services they offer so they can speak openly and honestly from a client’s perspective. And they treat you like a VIP which is always nice.
